John G took us on his Twin Bridges ride one early spring day in 2004.

 

This is in the Hunuas, between Hunua and Paparimu.

 

 

We had had our caffeine stop at "The Castle" and then headed over to the Waikato River at Mercer.
This is looking down on Mercer from Koheroa Road.

 

 

Then it was time for lunch beside the river.

 

 

 

 

After lunch we faced up to the climb up towards Pukekawa.

 

 

 

Which allowed us to have this fine view of the bridge at Tuakau
with Pukekohe Hill in the background..
