Auckland Cycle Touring Association North Island Tour, 2008

Sunday 9 November
Palmerston North - Dannevirke
Saturday was
esentially a rest day, riding only 22km from Fielding to
Palmerston North.

The original plan
for Sunday was to ride over the Pahiatua Track, but the choice was made
to go via Saddle Road and have a look at the wind farm up there.
The departure from Palmerston North was about 7:15am.

"Man!! You should have seen the one that got away!!"
Unfortunately, the audience does not seem too interested in fishy stories.
Maurice's sprained
ankle was NOT a cycling injury.
He slipped on the step of a public loo.
As has been said, "To not cycle because it is "dangerous" is like not eating, to avoid food poisoning."
