Secretary : Notice re Ride Wednesday 3 June 2020
Recently I emailed you advising that the Committee has decided that while we are in lockdown, on Wednesday rides from Kumeu, Riverhead and the Ferry Building the morning tea stop would be in a park, and you should bring a thermos and snacks from home.
Tomorrow (3 June) will be an exception.
The Ferry Building ride will be out to Highland Park and Musick Pt, and I can’t find a convenient park with good seating for morning tea. However there are three cafes within fifty metres of each other at Highland Park, so we can split into two or three small groups and use the cafes.
Ray’s Kumeu ride will probably go to Muriwai, and he anticipates a group small enough to safely use the cafe there.
Therefore: tomorrow, as an exception, you can rely on a cafe stop for morning tea. However the general rule will be that while lockdown remains, you need to bring morning tea from home on Wednesday rides from Kumeu, Riverhead and the Ferry Building.
