1) 70th Anniversary Dinner: Saturday 29 June 5pm:
Would be good to get a few more members along to our last celebratory function of the year. We need your payment please by Friday 7th June – end of this week!
IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREADY BOOKED DO IT NOW: NO MYSTERY GIFT FOR LATECOMERS
Held at Auckland Bridge Club, 273 Remuera Rd, Remuera. Parking available. Enjoy a fabulous evening including a two course dinner and a mystery gift and share some stories. The cost is $35 per person for up to 2 people per membership (ACTA is subsidising the meal by $15). Additional guests and non-members are $50. Will you attend? BYO: Because of a change of staff at the bridge club they are no longer able to provide us with a barman for the night, so because of licensing issues we ask that you bring your own alcohol/drink for the night. Glasses will be provided of course!
We still need a GAZEBO: Does anyone have a gazebo with sides that we could use to provide shelter for the Spit Roast Company while they are cooking our anniversary dinner on Saturday 29 June.

2) Spokesman Souvenir Issue $25. Pay now.
We had almost 20 members (from the earlier survey we did) advising they were keen for a hard copy.
Only 7 have responded & paid so if you indicated that you wanted a copy can you please pay now or advise us if you are not going to get one.
If you want a hard copy you need to order it now.

3) First Aid Course for members Monday 8 July 8.30 to 5.00pm
There are only 2 places left on this course. Make sure you are skilled enough to help your cycling friends (and family) when they most need it. Deposit $45 in the ACTA account (02-0184-0213886-00), put your name and “First aid” as references, and email our Treasurer Geoff Phillips (treasurer@acta.org.nz) to let him know you have paid.

5) This Wednesday, June 5.
Since it’s the first Wednesday of the month, you have a choice of rides. Out west with Ray Mankelow, leaving the Kumeu Bakehouse at 9.30am. Or a city ride (“Meandering to Mangere”) with Colin Quilter, meeting at the Ferry Building 9.30am.
